Maxine R.'s Story
Wow where do you begin after 50 years. At least I'm still alive and living in Florida for the last 15 years. I married a wonderful man while I was working at Wright-Patt Air Force Base in Fairborn Oh. We married and moved to Enon a little burg of Springfield Ohio. He was an Air Traffic Controller and in the off time we did antique shows and had an antique shop. In 1994 we retired to Florida. But 5 years ago I lost this wonderful man to cancer.. I live in one of those 55+ mobile home parks; my mother lives just up the street from me along with my brother so I'm ok. Got a lot of health issues ...Expand for more

I never knew about this website until tonight when my brother was saying how he got on here for his school year...so here I am. I doubt anyone will recognize me, bt that's ok I didn't remember too many names either so far. After all 50 years of memories is hard ro recover.
I'm real active in my church and I've just met another great guy who happens to be a jazz alto sax player. So I go to his venues and listen to him play.
So there's 50 years in a nut shell. Nice chatting with you and maybe get to talk to someone one of these days
